The Social Activities: will “take off” on Friday Lunchtime 18th September with our annual weekend long Beer Festival…….Beer and BBQ Sausages will welcome all on arrival (Free for Skippers and Crew)…..followed by Event Evening Meal, a range of Basket style meals, all the same price, in the Club with live music from Jake…….
Saturday, early risers may join the crew for breakfast baps…..after lunch, while crews are competing afloat…..families and friends can play a Variety of Games ashore and sing along with the Salty Sea Dogs Shanties….. After Racing, Après Sail BBQ sausages and beer will greet the crews (Free for Skippers and Crew), who can then meet up with those ashore, and after which can participate in the 17:30 Tug-of-War competition! ……leading on to the days prizegiving and our legendary Regatta Dinner, open to all, followed by Live Music from Cyris….
Sunday, starts with normal Lunch Menu, accompanied by Music from Jazz & Dave, switching to the BBQ as the regatta crews return to shore, in time for our final prize giving of the weekend.
