RIP Betty Mackie

We are very sad to announce that Betty Mackie, wife of past Commodore, Wing Commander Gordon Mackie and mother of past Commodore David Mackie, passed away peacefully at the family home on Saturday 11th April. The Club wishes to send our condolences to Betty's family at this sad time.

Speaker: Becky Walford Topic: "Snapshot from Portsmouth Harbour"     We are delighted to welcome Becky Walford, Port Safety Officer Assistant from the Queen's Harbour Master office at Portsmouth. Becky will be giving us a unique insight into the movements of shipping, large and small, around the east Solent and Portsmouth harbour. 2019 Battle of Britain Regatta

This year's Regatta runs on the traditional weekend of 14th and 15th September. This marks 79 years to the day that is recognised as the turning point of the air war, with defeat of the Luftwaffe on the 15th and the regatta is held to commemorate the RAF's role in this campaign.
